Who should be seen at Coast Skin?

We recommend a full dermoscopic skin check if ANY of the following apply to you.

  • ·Anyone with concerns about a lesion - which could be new or different or changing or itchy or tender or bleeding

  • Anyone with more than 50 moles

  • Anyone with a parent / sibling / child with melanoma

  • Anyone with a previous skin cancer of any type or sun damaged skin

  • Anyone with European heritage, especially if you’ve had repeated episodes of sunburn in your earlier years, grew up in NZ or used sunbeds in the past

  • Those in the 40+ age group.
